Do you want to sponsor a child? 

Near our farm is a transitional housing project for families. I have long envisioned reaching out to the children of these families to attend the programs at our farm. I wondered what would it be like for them to have a beautiful warm experience connecting to the horses, the farm animals and the land?

Last week I stopped to talk with a young man who had been “doing donuts” in his truck on the road in front of our farm. As we talked, he told me, “I just wanted to do something fun for my little sister and brother”. I looked over to the truck and there were the littles squished into the front seat. I knew in that moment the time had come to start offering our horse program to these children!

Would you like to contribute so a child from a low income family can participate in our horse and farm class series?

I would like to give these children a feeling that there are people who would really like something good for them. You can be one of these people. So any amount you give will not only add up financially but also increases the community of people who are supportive of them. In other words, with any donation you include yourself in the circle of people wishing to give them an experience of something different, something good, something that gives the possibility of hope for the future.
